We Are Marshall
A film about desire and determination in the face of adversity. If you haven't seen it is a true story about a school fighting back after the American football team is wiped out in an air crash. The film has a feel about looking on the brightside and a how do you know if you don't ask feel. I thouroughly enjoyed the film.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
I am a big Harry Potter the films and the books several times for each one, but personally I thought this was the best film, not the best book but the film to me was the first Harry Potter adult version, the first two films were for the kids, the third and fourth there was a mixture but this was darker, more sinister and very well done. The book is obviously quite big and could not all be fitted in to th film but another 10 minutes on the film wouldn't have been noticeable. An extra few bits could have been added. Overral however I enjoyed and so did my kids, and when my daughter was gripping my arm I knew it had the fear factor. Two characters I wanted to see were Umbidge and Luna, both were exactly as I expected, I thought Luna was exactly as the book had been written but Umbridge stole the show, from the beginning and all the way through she is a nasty piece of work. The film moved at a good pace whilst informing you of the story and the bringing in lots of new characters. If you haven't seen it yet, go and enjoy.
The New book, ok my view on the new book, brilliant, you can ignore some critics who think they have to criticise just to keep there jobs, you can also praise and when you sell as many books as JK then you have the right to criticise. I have only heard one bad critisim from a nobody. The book starts off great, and then slows just another before even more action, then I found part of it a bit slow you will the book to move on and it does. Its fast and furious and yes there are a few deaths, and the end is a late late night of reading you have to know whats happening next and keep going to the end. I won't write too much as I am scared of ruining it for anyone but it is good and I like so many others will read it once again.
