This weekend is semi final weekend and we see only one premiership football team in the semi's, however the games are played at Wembley. Is this right or wrong, personally its wrong. The FA Cup and Wembley are huge dates in the diary and also huge achievments. Its a major thing for any club to get to the FA Cup final so why take the gloss off it by making the semi finals be played there. I have no doubt they will be great days out for the fans going there, it is a chance for more fans to see the national overexpensive show ground. However wembley is special, it is for the best to get there, the best in the respective competition, the best two in the Fa Cup, the best two in the league cup and so on. A special day that has been cheapened by the money grabbing FA who are trying to recoup money by tainting the history of the FA cup.
This year shows the true spirit of the game by only one premiership team making it, this is magical however, the teams should be offf to the emirates and Old Trafford, then reaching Wembley is a real achievement.
